Who We Are

Our vision for the website is to provide information on Global Developmental Delay that is detailed, accessible and evidence-based. It is information you can trust.

The materials have been developed through a partnership of families living with Global Developmental Delay, professionals working in the area and researchers. Our working group of parents has advised on what information families need and how it should best be presented. Our team of professionals and researchers has then undertaken the writing of the resources. Here you will find written materials, a learning module and videos featuring individuals and families living with Global Developmental Delay as well as the professionals who work with them.

It is our hope that the information provided will help those using it to Live Well with Global Developmental Delay.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this project. When my son was initially diagnosed with GDD, I had no idea what it meant or where to find out. I wanted to know more so I could give my son the best chance of fulfilling his potential, whatever that might be. This project will help parents and carers access this information more easily to help reduce the stress that comes with uncertainty. It will give them a pathway towards understanding their child’s needs to help them live their best life.”
